Our group table collaborated on this project a lot. We were all sharing what we knew about shadows, and how the different values can all be achieved through layering.
I've always had problems with drawing hands, so challenging myself to actually do it was new for me, and I definitely learned how to position the fingers and how to connect them better than I used to.
I started out with drawing the shape of it first, then figuring out where the light would hit, as well as put a darker value on the side of the light. Next time I will focus on the length of the fingers more rather than the palm, because the thumb turned out shorter than it should have. Also where the fingers are bended, there should be more of a shadow.
